SmartSpend is an AI-powered finance platform designed to help users track spending, manage transactions, and receive personalized financial insights. The goal was to create a smarter alternative to traditional banking dashboards by transforming financial data into actionable recommendations.

Problem

Most finance apps show users transaction data but provide little guidance on how to improve their financial habits. Users need help understanding spending patterns, identifying unnecessary expenses, and making informed financial decisions.

Solution

I designed SmartSpend, a finance dashboard that combines expense tracking with AI-driven insights. The platform helps users:

Reflection

This project challenged me to think beyond traditional dashboard design and explore how AI can create meaningful value within personal finance products.

The biggest takeaway was learning how to balance data visualization, financial complexity, and AI-driven recommendations while maintaining a simple and trustworthy user experience.
